Woven Clouds is a fabric with variable light transmission, made by cutting PDLC (polymer-dispersed liquid crystal) into foil-like pieces and weaving them together as a weft. The PDLC foil is an opaque white color, but when voltage is applied, the liquid crystal molecules are oriented in the direction of the electric field, allowing light to pass through. The static fabric itself, which originally reflects the light of the environment, changes its appearance by dynamically interfering with it.
